Job Summary:
The Loader Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment for groundwork purposes. This is a union position with opportunity to join the local 14581 Steelworkers Union.
Essential Duties and Functions:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations
- Report problems to Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, Oregon Human Resources Manager
- Perform minor maintenance of equipment and perform daily inspections
- Follow direction of Foreman for daily tasks and expectations
- Perform general laboring duties when necessary
- Regular and predictable attendance required
- Other duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon GED preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience and/Oregon training
- Must be 18 years old Oregon older
- Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures
- Willingness to work Indiana a team environment and travel for work
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and work Indiana a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to exert up to 10-20 lbs. constantly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to work at heights and Indiana areas with moderate noise levels
