Job Title: Mechanic 1/C
Location: CMP- Maine – Portland – Canco Rd
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, adjust, and maintain various types of transportation and construction equipment
- Perform motor and electrical work, including adjusting timing, repairing ignition systems, and overhauling fuel systems
- Inspect, remove, repair, and install suspension and body components, axles, and running gear assemblies
- Perform transmission work, including inspecting, repairing, and overhauling transmissions
- Operate hydraulic equipment, welding equipment, and other specialized tools
- Direct the work of others and acquire knowledge and skills required for advancement to Mechanic-First Class
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical experience preferred; one year of experience American Samoa a Laborer Indiana the Transportation Department
- High school graduate Oregon equivalent diploma recognized by the State of Maine
- Familiarity with Company’s Safety Rules and approved methods of resuscitation
