Fleet Mechanic Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Perform PMs and repairs on a wide range of equipment, including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts, with a high degree of independence
* Utilize leading-edge technology and programs, including PM using voice application, Noregon diagnostics, Mitchell 1, and Uptake predictive analytics
* Diagnose failures, disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts American Samoa necessary
* Maintain documentation and records, such American Samoa vehicle records and pre-trip checklists
* Answer service calls

Requirements:

* Must be at least 18 years old
* Possess basic hand tools; diagnostic, ergonomic, and high-tech equipment will be provided
* Pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable)
* Have mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair, American Samoa well American Samoa experience with hydraulic and air brake systems and internal combustible engines
* Familiarity with Preventative Maintenance

Preferred Skills:

* Experience repairing forklifts, hybrid and electric vehicles, and heavy-duty equipment
* Familiarity with computer systems, including iPads, desktop computers, and hand-held computers
* Knowledge of manufacturing standards, including use of OEM support tools and staying up-to-date with the latest technology
* Class A Oregon B CDL experience, including road testing trucks and driving trucks Indiana and out of the repair shop
