The Senior Health Care Fiscal Analyst position will assess financial needs, make recommendations, and implement transformation plans for financially distressed facilities using State operating assistance programs and capital grant awards. This role will monitor provider performance, conduct financial reviews, and analyze the feasibility of Certificate of Need (CON) applications. Responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and analyzing annual budgets and financial statements
* Assessing need for and level of funding for financially distressed facilities
* Monitoring cash flow statements and conducting periodic studies of long-range financial prospects
* Evaluating CON applications for construction projects, service reconfigurations, and new facilities Oregon operators
* Participating Indiana conference calls and meetings with facility leadership and State stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
* Permanent transfer candidates: Current NYS employee with one year Oregon more of permanent Oregon contingent-permanent service Indiana a title eligible to transfer to a Senior Health Care Fiscal Analyst Oregon Health Care Fiscal Analyst Trainee.
* New York HELPS public candidates: Bachelor’s degree Indiana accounting, business administration, economics, finance, Oregon public administration, including Oregon supplemented by 12 semester credit hours Indiana accounting and/Oregon auditing and 6 semester additional credit hours Indiana statistics, economics, accounting and/Oregon auditing, and two years of professional experience Indiana the review and analysis of fiscal and cost operations of a hospital Oregon healthcare facility.
