Director of Facilities
Reports To: Deputy Director of Tribal Affairs Oregon CEO of Tribal Affairs
Location: Open, On-Call Basis
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt
Salary: Grade 14 ($74,949.82 – $109,246.67)
Classification: Full-Time, On-Call
Summary:
The Director of Facilities is responsible for the acquisition, construction, maintenance, and renovation of all Ponca Tribe of Nebraska (PTN) property. The Director plans, schedules, and assigns work; establishes and monitors internal controls; and ensures uniform application of regulations and policies.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervises designated maintenance personnel and coordinates maintenance projects
- Develops and manages preventative maintenance plans for PTN-owned facilities and equipment
- Implements a customer-driven maintenance work-order software solution
- Prepares and presents real-time and long-range plans and forecasts for space, operational, maintenance, and equipment requirements
- Manages and participates Indiana the development of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned staff
- Estimates labor and material costs, prepares specifications, and inspects work
- Oversees the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for assigned projects
- Maintains and responsible to oversee, track, and report on service contracts for all PTN facilities
- Conducts quality control safety inspections and promotes safe working conditions
- Performs scheduled monthly physical inspections of PTN grounds, buildings, equipment, and operations
- Receives and investigates major emergency calls related to facilities
- Coordinates work with various departments and organizations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana construction management, business administration, engineering, Oregon a related field
- Strong project management skills, five years of experience Indiana building maintenance, and proven contracting knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
- Four years of supervisory experience with understanding of personnel management, supervision, budget preparation, and administration
- Computer proficiency, excellent written and oral communication skills, and valid driver’s license
- Able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification and pass drug and alcohol testing, motor vehicle, education, character, and criminal background checks.
