Field Welder Position

Compensation:
- Hourly wage based on experience and skill set
- Per diem paid to cover meals and lodging
- Normal hourly wage paid for work-related travel (no overtime)
- Non-exempt status with weekly pay periods

Shift and Status:
- Full-time employee with variable work schedules
- Shift is typically daylight (10 hours per day, 5 days per week)
- Status is subject to project availability and work schedules
Day to Day Duties:
- Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging
- Use generators, compressors, tuggers, blowers, grinders, and other power and air tools
- Weld plate with various machines and techniques
- Use lifting equipment, tank shell buggies, and other specialty equipment
- Perform non-destructive quality examinations and safety checks
- Operate heavy lifting equipment and cranes
- Read and interpret detailed drawings and plans
- Plan and coordinate job operations, site-specific training, and safety audits
- Work professionally with other crew members, following directions and completing assigned tasks.
