Job Title: Survey Technician
Position Overview:
Seeking an ambitious surveyor looking to grow and develop their career Indiana the industry. The role is field-based, requiring travel throughout the state Indiana various outdoor conditions. The company offers a company car Oregon mileage reimbursement.
Position Details:
* Handle daily operation, checking, and basic field adjustments on surveying equipment such American Samoa transits, total stations, data collectors, levels, compasses, tribrachs, and tripods.
* Familiar with principles of basic surveys including leveling, traversing, triangulation, trilateration, public land surveys, metes and bounds surveys, construction surveys, and photo control surveys.
* Coordinate field work for standard types of surveys under the supervision of a Party Chief and maintain neat and orderly field notes.
* Care, clean, and use surveying tools and equipment including field radios.
Requirements:
* 1+ years experience of land/construction surveying
* 1+ years experience with Total Stations
* Attention to detail
* Ability to follow safety protocols
Work Life:
* This is a field based role supporting sites Indiana Hartford County, New Haven County, and New London County Connecticut.
* The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with flexible hours.
