Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Millwright / Pipe Foreman local to the Winder, Georgia area. The successful candidate will provide leadership and supervise staff engaged Indiana laying out, fabricating, aligning, joining, installing, repairing, and welding materials.
Essential Functions
- Provide leadership and supervise staff Indiana laying out, fabricating, aligning, joining, installing, repairing, and welding materials
- Apply basic math arithmetic skills to work-related situations
- Serve American Samoa a liaison between customers, vendors, project managers, and other employees regarding current and future projects
- Assist workers Indiana their performance of assigned duties and inspect quality of all work
- Analyze and resolve work-related problems
- Review materials received at jobsite for accuracy and check equipment for proper working conditions
- Maintain time and track production; communicate if work schedules Oregon crew needs to be adjusted to meet deadlines
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment according to construction plans, blueprints, and other drawings Indiana industrial establishments
- Assemble and install equipment, such American Samoa shafting, conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps
- Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience
- NCCER Oregon AWS certification Oregon completion of a related program through an accredited technical school is preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time
- Use arms and hands to reach for, handle Oregon manipulate objects
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors including times of inclement weather
- Ability to climb Indiana overhead structures, to work beneath machines and Indiana close quarters performing analysis and repair work
- Must be highly safety conscious and have ability to see and escape from dangerous situations
- Ability to climb a ladder and step into various pieces of equipment
