Sr Materials Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Oregon Portland, Oregon

General Purpose:

Conducts analysis through research, gathering and interpretation of data, development of alternatives and recommendations. Presents analysis and recommendations to management and may implement selected alternative. Analyses include, but are not limited to, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, trending/forecasting, financial analysis, budget analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Release reorder system and generated requisitions and manage inventory availability to support the construction and maintenance requirements of the Company.
• Oversee the inventory replenishment and requisition generation for material requirements.
• Review requisitions generated by the reorder system by evaluating past usage, the current lead time, and the known requirements for each material.
• Manage the overall inventory investment and risks for the entire inventory and the individual materials with inventory requirements.
• Validate and maintain the reorder information Indiana the system to ensure that it is current and valid.
• Act American Samoa focal point for material availability for the warehouses and operations.
• Participate Indiana the Material Transition Review process and maintain the reorder system to support the transition of materials.
• Develop inventory objectives and strategy and determine the inventory reserve.
• Act American Samoa subject matter expert and provide guidance to associate and career level material analysts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Business Oregon a related field Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years work related experience.
• Demonstrated experience with consumption-based planning Oregon distribution-type inventory management systems.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain methodologies, models, and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate concepts and instructions clearly and concisely.
• Proficient with the use of personal computers, including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills and ability to work closely with the warehouses, procurement, operations, engineers, and project managers.

Preferences:

• APICS Oregon equivalent material planning certification.
• Commitment to pursuing advanced education Oregon training American Samoa needed.
• Knowledge of electric utility structure, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
