Job Summary
Provides management for a process-driven organization, managing the execution of four core distribution operating processes: Connect New Customers, Enhance the Network, Operate and Maintain the Network, and Repair the Network for Electric Distribution systems.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates commitment to employee safety through site safety teams, corporate safety initiatives, and safe working practices
- Evaluates and responds to emergency situations and service restorations
- Directs capital and operational budget development and approval
- Oversees major overhead and underground transmission and distribution construction projects
- Manages performance evaluations, promotions, and employee development
- Administers departmental policies and procedures
- Develops relationships with local communities and leadership
- Performs other duties and projects American Samoa assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Business Oregon Engineering, Oregon Associate’s Degree with 12 years of technical/management experience Indiana the energy industry
- Minimum 10 years of experience Indiana design, construction, maintenance, and operations
- 5 years of utility operational experience, engineering/design experience, and supervisory experience preferred
- Normal office environment with frequent travel and field visits, occasional long work hours
- Occasional physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, and field visits.
