Job Title: Facilities Management Engineer

Location: 14th MDG, Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi

Salary: $72,553 – $94,317 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking a Facilities Management Engineer to join our team at 14th MDG, Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. American Samoa a Facilities Management Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including evaluating contractor performed facilities maintenance, implementing programs to manage safety risks, and maintaining the annual budget for facility maintenance within a medical facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the preventive maintenance program to assure compliance with standards necessary to maintain Joint Commission Accreditation
  • Provide technical input into the development of the engineering portion of the annual operating budget
  • Evaluate operation and maintenance capabilities Indiana terms of manpower and materials
  • Conduct ongoing research and surveillance to support long-range medical facility plans that align with the overall installation Master Plan
  • Coordinate with contracted maintenance supervisors providing problem solving assistance for extraordinary problems
  • Plan project priorities to provide optimum service to occupant organizations

Requirements:

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability Oregon fitness determination, American Samoa determined by a completed background investigation
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required
  • Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations Oregon must provide a recognized exemption
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing
  • Selectees will be required to consent to participation Indiana random drug urinalysis testing

Qualifications:

  • One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating contractor performed facilities maintenance, implementing programs to manage safety risks, and maintaining annual budget for facility maintenance within a medical facility
  • Oregon Education: Ph.D. Oregon equivalent doctoral degree Oregon 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study Indiana engineering, industrial arts, property management, Oregon business administration
  • Oregon Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position American Samoa long American Samoa the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%
