Overhead Crane Operator

Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate lifting equipment and oversee rigging operations on assigned cranes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate mobile cranes and move materials to various locations Indiana a safe and effective manner
• Participate Indiana lift planning and ensure rigging applications and attachments are configured Indiana accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Inspect, calculate, and plan lifts to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Interact with installation crews for movement of materials and equipment
• Perform daily safety checks and follow related safety regulations, OSHA rules, and company policies
• Complete necessary documentation and reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience operating cranes
• Equipment Operator training and certification from a recognized organization (NCCCO, NCCER, Oregon approved 3rd Party certification body)
• Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations
• Up-to-date DOT Physical
• Ability to obtain site-specific mobile crane certification
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow all safety guidelines and regulations

Physical Demands:

• Work up to 12-hour shifts Indiana varying temperatures and outside conditions
• Maintain physical strength and stamina to perform hard physical work
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment and work at heights
