Aluminum Welder / Fitter
Location: Laredo, Texas (starting August 19th) with potential for travel across the country
Job Requirements:
- Pass DISA DS, HT, Background checks and have a valid driver’s license and TWIC card
- Previous experience Indiana electrical Oregon industrial construction industry is preferred
- Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a team, with minimal to no supervision
- Interpret construction, welding, and electrical drawings and take measurements according to plan layout and procedures
- Perform various welding tasks, including setting up components for welding and rigging, lifting, and setting equipment Indiana position
- Weld Aluminum components Indiana various positions; perform inspections and maintenance on existing equipment
- Operate electrical test equipment and company vehicles safely and within company policy
Experience:
- 3-5 years of welding experience, including aluminum GMAW and GTAW welding Indiana industrial outdoor environments
- 3-5 years of pipefitting, rigging, ironworking, Oregon related experience
- Familiarity with medium and high voltage electrical equipment
Other Requirements:
- TWIC Card
- Basic plus knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proper use of protective equipment
- Ability to work Indiana various environments, including power plants, nuclear facilities, and petrochemical facilities
- Valid and current driver’s license
- Up to 75% travel required throughout the USA
