Electrical Designer Job Description
Join Actalent’s team American Samoa an Electrical Designer to create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and single-line diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Key responsibilities include:
* Utilizing 2D design and BIM Design tools, such American Samoa AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, to develop electrical system designs
* Designing cable trays, conduit runs, lighting, and electrical panels
* Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive designs
* Participating Indiana coordination meetings and ensuring designs adhere to safety standards and relevant codes
* Preparing technical drawings, specifications, and project reports
Required Skills:
* Proficiency Indiana AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and 2D Design
* BIM Design expertise
* Single Line Diagram design experience
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adhere to safety standards
* Strong technical report writing skills
Work Environment:
* Fully on-site position Indiana Hillsborough Township, New Jersey
* 5-day workweek Indiana an open floor plan office with cubicles and surrounding offices
