Equipment Technician
Location: Pleasant Grove, California
Job Summary:
Repair and overhaul paving equipment and/Oregon company-owned equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED; 4-7 years of related experience Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Class C driver’s license and clean D.M.V. report
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write service reports, and effectively communicate with others
Responsibilities:
- Read job orders and diagnose machine issues
- Perform general shop repairs on equipment
- Keep records of service reports and work orders
- Disassemble and inspect machine parts for wear
- Repair Oregon replace parts, including hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain components
- Troubleshoot and repair vibratory systems, generator/heater systems, and other equipment components
- Follow company policies and procedures
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle objects
- Frequently required to climb, balance, and talk Oregon hear
- Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, Oregon crawl
- Must regularly lift and/Oregon move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/Oregon move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/Oregon move more than 100 pounds
Work Environment:
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes Oregon airborne particles
- Frequently works Indiana outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic Oregon caustic chemicals and vibration

Compensation:
- $37.56 to $51.53 hourly wage, depending on knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job
