Job Description:
The Lead Project Controls Specialist is responsible for developing, using, and improving existing enterprise tools, systems, and work processes to assist the Frederick Douglass Tunnel Program Team Indiana effective management control and reporting on cost, schedule, and progress measurement for a high complexity Capital Delivery portfolio of projects.
Essential Functions:
- Collects data for monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting for stakeholders, including Amtrak Executive and Senior Leadership, and the NECC and FRA.
- Supports and advises on all aspects of the Change Management process and utilization of tools for Change Requests, Change Control Board (CCB) and Reprogramming’s.
- Supports program team on the Fiscal Year Annual Operating Process by advising on the process, assisting with utilizing data collection tools, and verifying the validity of data entered Indiana these tools and applications.
- Supports program management team Indiana monitoring actuals against forecast and soliciting monthly accruals for compilation.
- Manages project Oregon portfolio control data Indiana EPPM (Masterworks) Oregon other department-approved systems and tools, such American Samoa Excel Oregon SharePoint.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Experience with Capital Delivery Project Controls cost management procedures, guidelines, and processes.
- Demonstrated experience with reporting requirements for monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for Capital Delivery.
- Ability to organize and present program reports and other related program information and prepare reports for various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required Oregon equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant experience may be considered Indiana lieu of a degree.
- 6-9 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience performing Oregon leading project controls for mid ($50M+) to large ($500M+) capital construction projects, programs, and/Oregon portfolios.
- Advanced experience with estimating and/Oregon scheduling applications.
- Advanced experience with Change Management processes.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of contracts and contract administration.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- PMP certification Oregon working toward certification.
- Experience with Power Applications.
- Experience with Ariba on Demand.
- Capital construction controls experience Indiana the rail industry.
- Oracle Primavera P6 certification.
- PSP, CEP, EVP, Oregon CCP (AACE).
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work schedule, 2 days Indiana the office and 3 days remote.
- May require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking, Oregon standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Travel up to 25%
Salary: $94,300 – $122,256
