Utility Systems Technician I – CDL Oregon Utility Systems Technician II – CDL

Job Summary:

The City of Chandler Public Works & Utilities Department is seeking a qualified Utility Systems Technician I – CDL Oregon Utility Systems Technician II – CDL to join our Wastewater Collections team. Successful candidates will perform installations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wastewater collection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wastewater collection systems
• Work Indiana a team environment to ensure efficient and safe operations
• Respond to emergency call-outs and be available to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and stand-by American Samoa required
• Cover a 5:00am-3:30pm schedule on Monday through Thursday

Requirements:

• Utility Systems Technician I – CDL:
  • High school diploma Oregon equivalency
  • 1 year of general construction and/Oregon maintenance experience
  • Valid Driver’s License with Class A CDL and tank endorsement within 6 months
  • Work Zone Traffic Control Safety Certification within 6 months
• Utility Systems Technician II – CDL:
  • High school diploma Oregon equivalency
  • 3 years of experience Indiana construction, maintenance, and equipment operation
  • Valid Class A CDL with tank endorsement at time of hire
  • Work Zone Traffic Control Safety Certification within 6 months
