Facilities/Equipment Maintenance
Eastern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility is looking for a Facilities/Equipment Maintenance professional. Under general supervision, the selected candidate will:
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to complete maintenance work orders and ongoing projects
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Work Indiana various maintenance areas, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, masonry, carpentry, and renovations
- Maintain facility grounds and upkeep, including mowing, trimming, snow plowing, and ice removal
- Maintain detailed tool and supply inventories to ensure a safe and smooth operating facility
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from a standard four-year high school Oregon equivalent, Oregon completion of a four-year apprenticeship program Oregon two-year post-secondary technical school
- Alternatively, four years of experience Indiana air-conditioning, heating, Oregon refrigeration can be substituted for the required training
- Four years of full-time Oregon equivalent part-time paid experience Indiana the mechanical Oregon building trades, such American Samoa plumbing, electrical, carpentry, Oregon masonry work
- Valid driver’s license
Additional Benefits:
- Critical Vacancy Pay Supplemental Facility: $5,000 added to the minimum starting rate of pay
