Senior Manager, People and Culture

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, People and Culture will serve American Samoa a strategic partner to the San Francisco regional office Indiana the areas of performance, development, and engagement. This role will ensure a strong focus and commitment on the employee experience & engagement, project standards, retention, and a high-performance culture that embodies Suffolk’s core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve American Samoa a strategic partner to the senior leadership team and build strong relationships with our field operations teams
  • Drive and execute the annual Performance Management and Talent Review process within the region
  • Support the annual and quarterly compensation planning process
  • Drive employee engagement through the entire employment life cycle
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and investigations
  • Lead and manage change across client groups to influence organizational culture
  • Utilize HR data and analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with the Learning & Development team to identify training needs and drive professional development initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana Human Resources, Business Administration, Oregon related field
  • 6+ years of progressive HR Manager Oregon Business Partner experience Indiana Construction, Manufacturing, Oregon related industry
  • Strong analytical skills and a track record of achieving results that contribute to the business
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information and navigate complex HR matters
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities Indiana a fast-paced environment
