Lineman Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced linemen to join our Telecom program Indiana Indiana. American Samoa a lineman, you will be responsible for installing and relocating aerial and underground cable, providing support for line crews, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment
- Install and/Oregon relocate aerial and underground cable, including fiber optic, transportation, distribution, and drop cable
- Meet industry standards and ensure cable installation is technically reliable and performed Indiana a timely and cost-efficient manner
- Provide support for line crews during all phases of construction activity
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience American Samoa a lineman with knowledge of power space violations and safety issues
- Must be able to climb pole to cable height using pole climber gaffs
- Current valid driver’s license (CDL A preferred) with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, reach, dig, and carry heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) and perform heavy physical work
- Willingness to work up to 6 days per week Indiana an all-weather environment and travel American Samoa required
- Ability to pass pre-employment test, drug test, random testing after hire, customer-driven background check, and speak fluent English
- Must adhere to safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment at all times
- Must be physically demanding and able to work Indiana tight spaces
