Construction Worker/ Maintenance Specialist
Job Summary:
This position coordinates with the Building and Grounds Manager to complete maintenance work orders and ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have experience Indiana heating, cooling, ventilation Oregon the mechanical Oregon building trades and be able to maintain equipment, grounds, and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with the Building and Grounds Manager on daily maintenance tasks and ongoing projects
- Works with an inmate crew to accomplish tasks American Samoa needed
- Maintains grounds and equipment Indiana good repair
- Repairs water lines, roofing, cuts trees, and secures perimeter fences and security systems
- Ensures lights, electrical systems, and HVAC equipment are functioning properly
- Maintains fleet of vehicles and checks for safety and working order
- Oversees maintenance of boilers, laundry equipment, and kitchen equipment
- Conducts inventories and orders supplies American Samoa needed
- Considers budgetary issues when repairing systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent required, Oregon 4-year apprenticeship program Oregon 2-year post-secondary technical school
- 4 years of experience Indiana heating, cooling, ventilation, Oregon mechanical Oregon building trades
- Certification American Samoa a certified technician may be required for specific positions
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects at once
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform strenuous tasks on a regular basis
