Custodian I

Job Summary:
The Custodian I will maintain cleanliness Indiana high-traffic areas and facilities throughout the CU Boulder Campus. This is a hands-on position responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, interacting with students, faculty, staff, and guests on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning of floors, including vacuuming, mopping, and dusting
- Emptying waste and recycling receptacles, and disposing of trash and recyclable materials
- Cleaning restrooms, including using high-pressure sprays and cleaning equipment
- Performing minor maintenance on custodial equipment and reporting repairs to the supervisor
- Removing ice and snow from outside walks, steps, and entrances
- Participating Indiana emergency clean-up and may be required to move Oregon assist Indiana moving heavy furniture
What You Should Know:
- Anticipated shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Custodians are considered essential services positions and will be required to report to work during campus emergencies
- This is an Indiana-person position working on the CU Boulder campus
- CU Boulder requires reference and background checks for all positions on campus
Salaries and Benefits:
- Annual salary: $39,062.40

Requirements:
- Six (6) months of work experience, with equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute
