Job Title: Resource/Range Management Specialist

Duties:
- Performs professional work conserving, developing, and managing public rangelands.
- Prepares, evaluates, and conducts biological analyses of public rangeland projects.
- Develops conservation plans, designs technical surveys, and performs work on rangeland construction projects.
- Acts American Samoa the principal contact and negotiator for multiple use management within the field/district office.
- Collects, interprets, and analyzes scientific data for assigned allotments.
- Conducts studies to determine solutions for disease control with grassland plant species.
- Reviews range permit applications to ensure compliance with federal law.
- Processes protests and appeals, prepares casework Indiana preparation for hearings, and appears American Samoa an expert witness.
- Plans and designs range improvements and vegetative management plans consistent with land use plan objectives.

Qualifications:
