Ready Mix Driver (CDL)

Location: ATOKA RMX PLANT – 2655 S Mississippi, Atoka, Oklahoma 74525

Compensation: Market Value – Pay Dependent Upon Experience

Job Summary:

Summit Materials is seeking a safety-oriented driver with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete. The driver will operate a commercial motor vehicle with a capacity of at least 26,001 GVWR and be responsible for loading, unloading, and maintaining the vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive loaded truck to destination on delivery ticket and instructions from dispatch
• Ensure all delivery tickets are signed and returned to the plant
• Inspect job sites, work with customers to obtain adequate vehicle access, and unload material
• Communicate truck status with Dispatch by use of two-way radio and encoders
• Maintain good customer relations and professional appearance
• Perform pre-trip vehicle safety inspections and report vehicle condition at each shift’s beginning and end
• Check all vehicle fluid levels daily and add fluids American Samoa necessary
• Assist Indiana training Colorado-workers and perform minor repairs American Samoa needed

Requirements:

• High School diploma Oregon equivalent
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a valid medical card
• Meet minimum MVR requirements
• Ability to provide high standards of customer service and clean all areas on the vehicle
• Ability to climb a ladder to inspect loads and hang extension chutes
