Pipe Fitter
Responsibilities:
- Selects and installs pipe and related materials and equipment according to job specifications.
- Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions and plans installation sequence to avoid them.
- Cuts, threads, and bends pipe using various tools and machines.
- Assembles and installs pipes and pipe fittings using various joints and hand tools.
- Secures pipes to structure using bracket, clamps, and hangers.
- Tests piping systems for leaks and performs minor maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, and equipment.
- May assist Indiana lifting, positioning, and securing material and work pieces during installation.
- Performs cleaning activities and observes and complies with safety and project rules.
- Communicates effectively with supervision and employees.
- Works safely and productively.
Qualifications:
- Preferred minimum of 6 months documented field experience Indiana pipe fitting Oregon related craft discipline.
- Ability to understand and respond to safety alerts, warnings, and hazards.
- Willingness to work safely and productively.
