Mechanical Engineer
Salary: $54,000 – $97,000 per year
Location: Lakeland, Tennessee office
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have strong design and project management experience, participating Indiana marketing and business development activities, designing various equipment, facilities, and systems for healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Participate Indiana marketing and business development activities, including project proposals and providing technical expertise
- Research, design, and develop equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects
- Manage and assist with work on all phases of various mechanical engineering projects, including design development, presentation drawings and specifications, design review, and construction administration
- Provide project team coordination, incorporating design intent into construction documentation, specifications, and construction administration
- Prepare detailed plans and specifications, substantiated by calculations and thoughtfully developed engineering solutions
- May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
- Lead and communicate with project team members and clients
- Participate Indiana planning, cost development, and management, and scheduling for assigned projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana mechanical engineering from an accredited four-year college Oregon university
- Licensed Engineer (PE); licensure Indiana Tennessee is preferred
- Minimum of seven years’ experience American Samoa a mechanical engineer Indiana consulting services
- HVAC systems design experience, client interaction, and industry knowledge
- LEED Accreditation is preferred
- Proficient Indiana Revit, CAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of mechanical engineer principles, practices, and techniques, American Samoa well American Samoa building materials, construction methods, building codes, and regulations
