Water Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a results-oriented Water Infrastructure Manager to join our AWS water team. Indiana this role, you will execute projects related to water-based cooling system infrastructure, collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and a high bar for operational efficiency, reliability, and safety. Deliver water sustainability projects for AWS Infrastructure Indiana the US West regions, and be the central point of contact for all issues pertaining to water and wastewater treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement water and wastewater infrastructure projects that support water delivery to data centers
  • Engineer, implement, and monitor water treatment/operations projects and identify optimal design criteria for scaling projects to full-scale deployment across different regions Indiana North America
  • Troubleshoot problems and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (California) for design and fleet deployed water systems
  • Work with local water utilities to understand and coordinate site utility requirements, requirements for infrastructure development, site inspections, and compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements and building codes
  • Track and manage reliability and maintenance of water systems, American Samoa well American Samoa the resiliency of sources of water supply required for data center cooling
  • Deliver projects that directly support water sustainability goals
  • Oversee the support, testing, and validation of systems during installation, operation, and maintenance of water treatment equipment and associated mechanical systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Mechanical/Chemical/Civil Engineering Oregon Water Resources Planning
  • 8+ year experience demonstrating excellent project management skills to balance multiple priorities Indiana a fast-scaling environment
  • Technologies for industrial applications with 8+ years of experience with industrial Oregon commercial engineering Indiana data centers
  • 8+ year experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications and able to carry design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment/scalable implementation
  • 8+ year experience understanding mechanical/plumbing related to data centers Oregon similar buildings that use water infrastructure, such American Samoa pumps, cooling towers, evaporative media, heat exchangers, air handling units, Oregon air economizers
  • 10+ years of project-related experience working with local Oregon state government agencies, utilities, site development due diligence, and/Oregon permitting entities

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of knowledge of water and wastewater regulations Indiana the states of Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Georgia
  • 15+ years of direct experience with the construction, operation, Oregon maintenance of water treatment equipment fleet management
