Job Summary:

We are seeking a Multifamily Drywall Operations Manager to oversee and manage the individual jobs and field supervisors within the multifamily department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background Indiana drywall, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to maintain scheduling and cost analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain company culture, safety, and quality through leading by example
• Recruit, hire, manage, and mentor Indiana-office and field teams
• Set specific goals and action plans for direct reports and hold them accountable for results
• Ensure all direct reports are properly trained on company procedures and follow company policies
• Meet revenue and profit objectives based on budgets
• Constantly review company policies to unlock opportunities for greater efficiencies
• Ensure inventory is controlled and accurate
• Respond with urgency and flexibility to meet frequently changing project schedules/scopes
• Develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships of confidence and trust
• Coordinate the business through all phases of material management, construction, and close-out, to meet company standards and customer expectations
• Manage project teams, providing advice and direction regarding project management techniques, benchmarks, customer expectations, budgetary considerations, company policies, and procedures
• Ensure procurement of materials and equipment for each project are within budget constraints and consistent with the project delivery schedule
• Achieve maximization of profits and sustainable ROI by prudent and efficient resource allocation
• Work with management and staff to identify and negotiate contract change orders
• Attend project status meetings and assist Indiana problem-solving efforts
• Travel American Samoa required to attend meetings, site visits, training, etc.
• Maintain required documentation Indiana job folders and on the computer system to support projects
• Prepare necessary project close-outs with team at the end of projects
• Increase project margins through efficiencies
• Submit monthly order projection report to supervisors
• Provide weekly job status, revenue, profit, and warranty reports to company President
• Develop and submit annual expense budget

Requirements:

• 3+ years of previous drywall multifamily service experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of drywall systems, applications, and operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
• Strong time management skills and a self-starter mentality
• Strong organization and customer service skills
• Interpersonal skills necessary to maintain effective relationships and communicate with a diverse group of senior leadership, managers, customers, and staff
• Critical thinking processes and problem-solving expertise
• Results-oriented and customer-focused
• Ability to change and adapt to current and future responsibilities and circumstances
• Computer skills with proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
