Heavy Equipment Operator – GPS Dozer Experience

We are hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators Indiana the Richmond/Petersburg area, specifically those with GPS dozer experience.

Job Summary:

TradeWorX, a full-time construction employer, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with experience Indiana operating GPS dozers and backhoes. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience Indiana earthmoving, from rough grading to fine grading, and be familiar with GPS machine controls.

Responsibilities:

• Operate GPS dozers and backhoes for various tasks, including road construction, trench digging, and material staging
• Understand and follow civil drawings and blueprints
• Observe hand signals, grade stakes, and other markings to perform work to specifications
• Perform routine inspections, safety walk-arounds, and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience operating GPS dozers and backhoes
• Proficient knowledge of earthmoving, including rough grading and fine grading
• Familiarity with GPS machine controls
• Knowledge of civil drawings and understanding of blueprints a plus
• Ability to work safely Indiana a construction environment
