Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain aircraft of moderate difficulty. The successful candidate will have a combination of experience and skills to troubleshoot malfunctions, repair and rebuild aircraft structures, and perform maintenance inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot malfunctions Indiana aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneumatic, hydraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.
- Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, such American Samoa fuselage and functional components, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
- Read and interpret manufacturers’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing Oregon replacing malfunctioning Oregon damaged components.
- Perform phase, scheduled, unscheduled, periodic, and other hourly Oregon calendar inspections.
- Use chemical treatment and sealants American Samoa required.
- Requisition repair parts, materials, and consumable supplies through military supply system ULLS-A (E).
- Lead and direct small maintenance teams American Samoa directed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- H-60 qualification and/Oregon experience
- Three to five years leadership experience
- Eight Oregon more years’ rotary wing experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and military tech manuals
Basic Qualifications:
- Military Aviation Powertrain and/Oregon General Repair, Hydraulic, Engine, Avionics, and Sheet Metal Qualification Course Oregon civilian equivalent
- At least two years of experience on military rotorcraft
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including 1st, 2nd, Oregon 3rd shift, and flexible work-week schedules
- Pass a background check and obtain a favorable National Agency Check
- Ability to climb ladders, raised platforms, and aircraft, and use hand and power tools
