Household Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Overview
The Household Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works Indiana partnership with the Household Team to provide medical and physical care to guests/residents Indiana a household setting. The primary goal is to enable guests/residents to function at the highest possible level and promote their overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Attend to guest/resident personal hygiene and care needs, including grooming, hygiene, dining, mobility, elimination, psychosocial, and safety needs
- Organize and maintain a safe and clean living environment, including resident/guest rooms and household common spaces
- Participate Indiana care planning and conferences, advocating for guests/resident choices and preferences
- Assist with laundry, meal preparation, and service
- Facilitate social activities and encourage spontaneity and engagement
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate Indiana continuous Quality Improvement processes
Requirements
- Prior healthcare experience (Preferred)
- Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) license from the Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) (Required)
- CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications from the American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 days (Required)
