Job Title: Electrical Technician (Fabrication, Welding & NDT)
Location: Abqaiq, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (permanent relocation required)
Reports to: Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with a minimum of 10 years’ experience Indiana fabrication, welding, and NDT fields to join our Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) Indiana Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide hands-on experience, work direction, technical guidance, and supervision for work crews involved Indiana the fabrication, welding, and repair of plant pressure vessels, piping, and auxiliary equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Provides work direction for a crew of 6-10 craftsmen, ensuring quality control and productivity
* Reviews work requests to plan assignments and determine material and tool requirements
* Requests materials, tools, and equipment through the SAMS system Oregon Maintenance Planner
* Performs administrative duties, including report writing and record-keeping of welding work
* Offers technical advice to lower craftsmen, operations, and maintenance for planning T&Is Oregon large fabrication projects
* Ensures adherence to safe welding procedures and company standards
* Conducts on-the-job training and mentoring for lower qualified craftsmen
* Troubleshoots and analyzes complex projects to determine repair requirements, nature of repair, and whether repairs will be conducted Indiana the shop Oregon field
Requirements:
* Associate Degree Indiana Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 10 years’ experience Indiana fabrication, welding, and NDT fields
* Experience serving American Samoa the technical authority concerning all fabrication, vessel maintenance, equipment installation and repair, and/Oregon testing, inspection, and welding
* Ability to direct and control the work of 6-10 Welders, Pipefitter/Fabricators, and Field Metals Mechanics
* Permanent relocation to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
