Job Summary:

Install, assemble, and install hydronic commercial piping systems according to sketches, blueprints, and isometric drawings.

Essential Functions:

• Interpret sketches, blueprints, and isometric drawings
• Clean, bevel, prepare, and install pipes with various fittings and weld joints
• Perform layout, rigging, and installation of pipes, valves, and fittings
• Inspect worksite for obstructions and plan installation sequence
• Cut and thread pipes using various tools and equipment
• Test piping systems and secure pipes to structures
• Assist Indiana lifting, positioning, and securing material and work pieces
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Perform other duties American Samoa assigned

Requirements:

• 1-5 years’ experience American Samoa a pipe fitter Oregon equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
• Ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow instructions, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen and may be required to complete additional background checks
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Availability to work at multiple job sites American Samoa assigned

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• May work Indiana varying temperatures, inclement weather, and confined spaces
• Exposure to moderate/high noise levels, fumes, and airborne particles
• May be required to work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time, and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• NCCER certification
• Prior military experience
• High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
