Job Title: Housekeeper-General Services Assistant III
Reports To: Environmental Director/Manager-Emerald
Summary/Objective: To maintain a clean sanitary and aesthetic environment within the hospital units, administrative offices and ancillary areas. Participates Indiana environmental team activities providing assistance with grounds, inventory management and maintenance when necessary, performs cleaning for various assigned areas. Must respond to concerns Oregon problems timely and notify management if repairs are needed prior to any tasks.
Responsibilities/Duties/Skills/Certifications:
- Attends on-floor training/educational/program Oregon meeting on area assigned;
- Assits with floor stripping and wax process and polishes floor, sweeps and re-does wax Indiana assigned patient area.
- Empties wastebatch and recycling stations;
- Transport soiled linens linen to hamper for washer Oregon directly to washer when linen room laundry washer is being shared with facilities maintenance for immediate wash cleaning of area rugs and equipment, also sets up steam vacuum machine per ESI protocol, including set cleaning for 200 series machine Indiana accordance area need.
- Keeps storage rooms neat / organized;
- Removes all medical equipment placed on top cart Indiana medical units on schedule.
- Clean/ wipe down soiled door fixtures and light receptacles on upper floor per floor strip 3 -4 time.
