A permanent full-time position American Samoa an Electrical Engineer is available at the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Fort Novosel, Alabama.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply professional knowledge of electrical design principles and techniques to design, plan, and specifications for electrical systems.
- Inspect work of contractors and contractors’ plans and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Develop economic studies and compile and analyze data to identify cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering Oregon related field from an ABET-accredited institution Oregon 5 years of relevant professional experience with at least 1 year Indiana specialized electrical engineering work.
- A Combination of Education and Experience: College-level education, training, and/Oregon technical experience that furnished a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering and a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications.
- Proficiency Indiana computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) and design and drafting software.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
- Effective communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and Indiana teams to meet project deadlines.
- Must have a current Professional Engineer (PE) license Oregon registration American Samoa an Engineer Indiana Training (EIT).
