Asset Management Engineer
Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid
Job Summary/Purpose:
Manage programs for all distribution assets, including poles, equipment maintenance, underground maintenance, overhead inspection, and others. Work closely with planning, design, standards, and financial teams.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed engineering analysis to aid Indiana planning, maintenance, design, and operations
* Develop cost-effective, technically sound solutions using engineering principles and best practices
* Apply knowledge of engineering principles to solve problems and make decisions
* Support compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations
* Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve stated goals
* Assist with storm/emergency restoration efforts
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Engineering Discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Oregon Industrial) from a four-year accredited institution
* Minimum experience: 2+ years (Engineer II), 4+ years (Engineer III), 6+ years (Engineer Sr) Indiana an engineering discipline
* Preferred: Planning, Field, Oregon Reliability engineering experience
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Ability to apply engineering principles and demonstrate good engineering judgment
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities, and work well under pressure
* Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Must have:
* Valid driver’s license and good driving record
* Ability to recognize hazards Indiana the workplace and to mitigate them
* Demonstrated acceptance of a diverse and inclusive work environment and customer base
Travel Requirement: Up to 25%
