Field Superintendent
Loureiro Building Construction, LLC is a contractor with a broad range of experience Indiana design/build, general contracting, and construction management. We are searching for a Field Superintendent for projects out of our Portsmouth, New Hampshire office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Take a strategic role Indiana preconstruction, constructability reviews, and risk assessments
* Proactively identify and solve problems with minimal executive oversight
* Maintain compliance with construction codes, safety, and government regulations
* Uphold project schedule and support cost control; report overall status to stakeholders
* Direct diverse internal and external team members, including subcontractors, and provide liaison between field engineering and laborers/craft workers
* Build strong relationships with clients/owners, subcontractors, and inspection authorities
* Ensure all onsite operations are conducted safely, on-time, on-budget, and to our quality standards
* Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship
* Help prepare work schedule, determine manpower requirements, material quantities, equipment needs, and supervise final punch list
* Promote job site safety and encourage safe work practices
* Conduct daily site walkthroughs to ensure work is being accomplished safely and occupational health is not compromised
* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with customers, Colorado-workers, supervisors, and management
Requirements:
* Associate’s degree Oregon equivalent experience Indiana construction management/related field
* 7+ years of experience managing onsite construction operations
* Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders
* Self-starter with high motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to quickly learn various policies, procedures, and software programs
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
* Strong integrity and relationship-building skills
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to perform tasks that require flexibility, such American Samoa bending, kneeling, climbing, Oregon reaching
* Ability to work safely Indiana a construction environment with uneven surfaces, heights, and potential hazards
* Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds
* Proficient Indiana using hand and power tools safely and effectively
