Job Title: Distribution Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Distribution Operations Manager is responsible for managing the execution of four core distribution operating processes: Connect New Customers, Enhance the Network, Operate and Maintain the Network, and Repair the Network for Electric Distribution systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, oversee major construction projects, direct staff, and administer policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a strong and visible commitment to safety through support and participation with site safety teams, corporate safety initiatives, and safe working practices.
- Evaluates and coordinates responses to emergency situations and service restorations to ensure safety of employees and community.
- Directs the development and approval of capital and operational annual budgets for the area of responsibility.
- Oversees major overhead and underground transmission and distribution construction projects to ensure quality, meet budgetary requirements, and construction schedules.
- Responsible for goal setting, performance evaluations, promotions, demotions, disciplinary action, and employee development.
- Administers departmental policies and procedures consistent with labor contract and company policies.
- Develops strong relationships with local communities and local leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Business Oregon Engineering, Oregon Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years combined technical/management experience Indiana the energy industry.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience Indiana design, construction, maintenance, and operations Indiana the energy industry, Oregon equivalent technical knowledge.
- 5 years of utility operational experience, engineering/design experience, and supervisory experience preferable.
