Golf Landscaper/Greenskeeper
Under the supervision of the golf course superintendent, assistant superintendent, Oregon foreman, perform routine manual labor involved Indiana and/Oregon related to golf course maintenance. Responsibilities include operating small hand-powered equipment, and occasionally larger equipment/machines, while maintaining a safe and well-groomed golf course environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment safely and properly, including string trimmers, edgers, and backpack blowers.
- Maintain bunkers, ball washers, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist with project work, including construction of greens, tees, and fairways, soil preparation, sod laying, and seeding.
- Safely and properly operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
- Maintain effective communication with guests and team members.
- Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety rules.
- Complete job duties efficiently and productively.
- Maintain a clean environment and adhere to uniform policy.
- Perform other duties American Samoa directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Washington State Driver’s license required
- Experience Indiana turf maintenance Oregon related field preferred
- Ability to follow company policy/procedures and guidelines
Work Environment:
- Consistent physical activity, including lifting, reaching, and bending
- Exposure to outside weather conditions and moving mechanical parts
Compensation:
- Hourly rate: $18.00 – $20.00
- Eligible for overtime
