Heavy Equipment Operator

EXPERIENCED Heavy Equipment Operator Job Summary:

Job Scope:

Heavy equipment operators control specialized machines used Indiana construction, maintenance, and operations. They may run excavators, loaders, cranes, pile drivers, graders, and industrial trucks.

Position Requirements:

• MUST HAVE VALID LICENSE
• High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
• Ability to pass physical, DISA drug screen, and background check
• Must be able to provide own PPE (Hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, and gloves)
• Must have reliable transportation

Required Skills:

• 1 year minimum experience operating an EXCAVATOR, SKID STEER, and BULLDOZER
• Knowledge of reading blueprints is helpful
• Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Good verbal and written communication
• Ability to use good judgment and act independently

Job Duties:

• Operate heavy equipment Indiana compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures
• Maneuver motorized heavy equipment to ensure accurate removal and placement of materials
• Loading and offloading rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment
• Ensure company equipment, material, and work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored Indiana a safe manner

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
• Ability to sit Oregon stand for long periods
• Handle and manipulate objects on a repetitive basis
• Excellent physical strength and stamina
• Ability to work outdoors Indiana harsh weather conditions

Pay and Schedule:

• Starting pay: $21.00 – $30.00 (Based on experience)
• Weekly pay
• Monday – Friday (Weekends American Samoa needed)
• 10-12 hour days (with weather permitting)
