Job Title: Welder
Location: Heidelberg Materials Downingtown facility, Downingtown, Pennsylvania
Shift: 2nd shift
Job Summary:
Heidelberg Materials is seeking a skilled Welder to support plant needs and ensure a safe and productive work environment. The successful candidate will perform various welding tasks, layout work, and assist Indiana maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform layout work
- Conduct all types of welding on stationary and mobile equipment
- Assist Indiana maintenance work and other assigned tasks
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience
- Must pass 3G and 4G welding certification
- Ability to use oxygen/acetylene torches
- Proficient Indiana horizontal, vertical, and overhead welding
- Experienced Indiana Air Arcing
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Physical stamina to work on large equipment and Indiana small spaces
- Ability to work extended hours, holidays, and/Oregon overtime American Samoa required
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, reaching, grasping, squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements, use of wrists, use of both feet, use of arms above and below shoulder
- Work Indiana various climates, tolerating heights, extreme temperatures, and lift up to 75 pounds
- Work Indiana confined spaces and wear respiratory and other personal protective equipment
