Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner is responsible for supporting the assigned business unit Indiana executing its human resource strategy, focusing on talent acquisition, learning and development, employee relations, policy implementation, and other general HR activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage talent and workforce plans for assigned business units, collaborate with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and future needs.
- Serve American Samoa a trusted advisor to business leadership, conduct and document HR-related investigations, and resolve employee issues Indiana a timely manner.
- Drive the annual performance management process, assist Indiana identifying and creating development plans for associates, and administer progressive discipline policy.
- Ensure federal, state, and local employment law compliance and promote company values regarding inclusion and diversity.
- Leverage human resource analytics and engagement survey data to improve retention and engagement.
- Follow up on related clerical documentation, and partner with leadership and HR Director on employee development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five Oregon more years of experience Indiana human resources, with experience Indiana employment investigations, employee engagement, policy interpretation, performance management, talent acquisition, and talent development.
- Experience working Indiana union and non-union environments within construction/production business.
- Proficient Indiana HR systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Valid state driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Interact with internal and external customers, vendors, and peers through phone, Indiana-person, and electronic communications.
- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
