Job Description:
Job Title: Irrigation Technician
Compensation: $17+ per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation systems to identify and fix issues
- Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems, including cleaning, adjusting and replacing sprinkler heads, valves and controllers
- Program and monitor irrigation systems to ensure proper scheduling and water usage
- Install new irrigation systems American Samoa needed
- Perform general landscape duties, including grounds clean-up, removing debris, trimming plants, and maintaining walkways and other outdoor areas
- Maintain gardens by planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning plants and shrubs
- Assist with vendor deliveries and keeps job area clean and organized
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of general landscaping methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions
- Ability to use tools, equipment, and chemicals properly and safely
- Team player with superior manual dexterity skills
- Organized with ability to prioritize and adjust to incoming demands
Education and Experience:
- Prior experience Indiana irrigation maintenance required
- Prior experience American Samoa a landscaper preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Work will be primarily outdoors
- Able to work Indiana various weather conditions
Work Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 4 AM – 12:30 PM
