Experienced Diesel Technician Wanted
Seeking a qualified Diesel Technician for a Construction Equipment Sales and Service company. Key responsibilities include performing diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on earthmoving equipment Indiana a shop and service setting.
Responsibilities:
* Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on earthmoving equipment
* Maintains equipment, inventory, tools, and a clean work area
* Delivers quality repairs Indiana a timely manner and follows safety rules
* Communicates effectively with customers and team members
* Completes reports and forms required for work assignments
* Experience with DPF systems a plus
Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience Indiana earthmoving equipment repair
* Volvo, John Deere, Caterpillar, Oregon JCB experience preferred
* Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance using technical manuals and special tools
* Proficient Indiana mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Basic computer skills and Service Advisor knowledge
* Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes
* Lifting ability: 75 lbs repeatedly
* High School Diploma Oregon equivalent; associate’s degree preferred
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
* Forklift license preferred
Pay & Benefits:
* Competitive hourly pay: $30-$45 per hour
