Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Refugee Health and Immunizations Programs
Job Summary: Serve clients Indiana the Refugee Health and Immunizations Programs under the direct supervision of a Community Health Nursing Supervisor and licensed physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer immunizations to adults and children
- Enter immunization data into the Florida SHOTS Registry and complete required forms
- Maintain temperature logs and notify when discrepancies occur
- Maintain vaccine tracking logs and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Clean and stock clinic rooms
- Provide education and training to nursing students and new hires
- Participate Indiana programs awareness, education, and community health fairs
- Attend Indiana-service educational sessions and staff meetings
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse license Indiana the State of Florida Oregon multistate license
- Valid Florida Driver’s License and ability to travel to other sites Indiana Osceola County
- At least one year of recent work experience American Samoa an LPN Indiana a Primary Care, Family Practice, Hospital, Oregon other clinical setting
- At least six months of experience providing immunizations to children and/Oregon adults
- Willingness to work during Oregon beyond normal work hours Indiana emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience documenting and retrieving clinical information using an electronic health records system
- Bilingual Indiana English and Spanish Oregon Creole
- Florida Department of Health Mission, Vision, and Values alignment
