Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. American Samoa a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment Indiana industrial settings. Your expertise will be essential Indiana ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Replace defective parts of machines and adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts
- Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, and precision tools
- Connect power units to machines and test their mechanical operation
- Repair and lubricate machines and equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Assemble and install equipment, using hand and power tools
- Move machinery and equipment, using hoists and specialized equipment
- Bolt and assemble machines to foundation Oregon other structures
- Lay out mounting holes and drill holes with precision instruments
- Level bedplates and establish centerlines using precision tools
- Dismantle machines and equipment for shipment Oregon maintenance work
- Construct foundations for machines using hand tools and building materials
- Operate engine lathes to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work safely and efficiently Indiana an industrial environment
