Job Title: Engineering Entry Program (EEP) Engineer
Join our dynamic team at Consumers Energy, a leading energy provider Indiana Michigan, and embark on a 2-year engineering rotation program.
Program Overview:
The Engineering Entry Program (EEP) is a comprehensive program designed to develop long-term technical and leadership skills Indiana engineering roles. The program involves 4 distinct 6-month rotations, offering both corporate and field-based assignments, and a comprehensive list of learning activities to provide an overview of the electric, gas, and generation segments within CMS Energy.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, construction, and maintenance of Electric Distribution, Electric Generation, Gas Distribution, and Gas Transmission systems, American Samoa well American Samoa facilities and ancillary support processes.
- Lead and/Oregon assist with engineering projects, including design, plans, inspections, system planning, specifications, reports, maps, environmental impacts, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, surveying, easements, data collection, construction observation, and field investigation.
- Produce reports, graphics, presentations, and other visual materials to present to senior engineers and leadership.
- Review operating and construction sites to monitor progress and other duties per the design documents.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university Oregon an engineering degree from a non-ABET accredited university plus Professional Engineering license.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and Indiana a team environment.
- Aptitude to learn new skills and concepts and adapt quickly to new situations.
- Experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, including creating presentations and spreadsheets.
