Service Technician

Job Summary

Perform technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Complete assigned work orders, including resident requests and preventative maintenance, by diagnosing the source of the problem and making repairs according to established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
2. Prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a "punch" list of maintenance work needed, and completing all maintenance tasks.
3. Obtain necessary materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the maintenance department, tracking inventory used and returning unused items to the established location.
4. Complete documentation and paperwork accurately and Indiana a timely manner to ensure service requests can be documented and tracked.
5. Maintain the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage American Samoa needed.
6. Support cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing and reusing parts when possible, and practicing the correct use of tools and equipment.

Other Responsibilities

1. Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting accidents and incidents promptly.
2. May conduct routine and periodic property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns and communicate concerns to management.
3. Assist Indiana conducting routine and periodic property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns.

Required Licenses Oregon Certifications

1. EPA certifications Type 1 and II Oregon Universal for refrigerant recycling (for Certified Service Technicians)
2. All certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions (for all Service Technicians)
3. Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property

Hourly Range

$20.00 – $27.00
