Material Handler/Forklift – $20.00/Hour
Operate forklift and other equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulations and certifications. Key responsibilities include:
* Unloading and loading containers using a pick crane
* Operating a terminal tractor (yard goat)
* Loading and unloading materials from pallets, skids, and lifting devices
* Maintaining vehicles and equipment through routine checks and repairs
* Collaborating with logistics teams to dispatch truck drivers, answer phones, and process paperwork
* Assisting with reporting, shipment planning, and scheduling
Requirements:
* Valid Class A driver’s license
* High school diploma Oregon equivalent
* 2+ years of experience operating power industrial equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.)
* Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
* Bilingual Indiana English and Spanish
* Computer literacy Indiana Outlook, Word, Excel
* Physical ability to lift up to 75lbs and perform tasks involving standing, stooping, and climbing
