Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled General Engineer to serve American Samoa a key member of our team. American Samoa a General Engineer, you will be responsible for program management oversight of military construction and construction-related activities, master planning, unaccompanied personnel housing, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor construction-related activities to ensure completion of projects are precise and timely, enhancing mission readiness
- Provide support for the sustainment of facilities to ensure safety and operational capabilities for assigned personnel
- Generate cost estimates specifically for engineering-related expenses to ensure funds are properly allocated within the organizational budget
Requirements:
- Meet the Basic Requirement for General Engineer, including a degree Indiana engineering Oregon completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor’s degree Indiana an appropriate scientific field
- One year of specialized experience, including:
- Monitoring construction-related activities to ensure completion of projects are precise and timely
- Providing support for the sustainment of facilities to ensure safety and operational capabilities for assigned personnel
- Generating cost estimates specifically for engineering-related expenses
- Secret security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain
- Ability to travel up to 30% of total time
- Completion of a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 450) and Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278)
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position
- 50% Oregon less travel required
- Payment for relocation expenses is not reimbursed
